Serie A TIM: presentation of the new stadium project of Fiorentina (cost: €420m, delivery in 2021)

"A stadium of 40,000 covered seats, consisting of two rings with photo-voltaic panels, restaurants including one panoramic of 1300 square meters overlooking the pitch, the new club museum, a commercial centre of 77,000 square meters, a 200-room hotel," these are the details of the new stadium project of ACF Fiorentina, presented by Andrea Della Valle and Mario Cognigni, honorary president and club president, respectively, at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence (ITA), on 10/03/2017.

The structure, to be located northwest of Florence, near the airport, will also include a parking garage with 700 spaces and 100 charging points for electric vehicles. Work should begin in the second half 2019, for delivery in 2021. Total estimated project cost: €420m. Fiorentina, however, indicated that the construction could be financed by the arrival of private investors.
