DFL Sports Enterprises: Patrick Krian named director in charge of sponsorship and licensing

The German Patrick Krian, 41 years old, has been named director in charge of sponsorship and licensing of DFL Sports Enterprises, announced the DFL on 15/03/2017. He will take office on 01/04/2017 in the subsidiary which markets the media and commercial rights of the German Professional Football League.

Under the authority of Jörg Daubitzer, CEO of DFL Sports Enterprises, Krian will be "responsible for a national and international rights portfolio offering extensive integration opportunities into the digital worlds of Germany’s Bundesliga in addition to sponsoring and license rights. His tasks will also include the forward-looking development of the marketing and sponsoring program," stated the DFL.

Patrick Krian has spent his entire career at Mediengruppe RTL, which he joined in 2001, and where he has been in charge of product licensing and advertising joint ventures since January 2008.
