Wolfsburg: launching the mini-site "vfl20.de" to celebrate 20 seasons of the club in the Bundesliga

VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) have launched a mini-site to celebrate 20 seasons of the club in the Bundesliga, since 1997, on 13/03/2017. Promoted for the first time ever to the Bundesliga for the 1997-98 season, the Lower Saxony club has not been relegated to the 2.Bundesliga.

The mini-site "vfl20.de" notably provides a summary of each of the 20 seasons of the club in the top flight, with the squad of each season, all results, player statistics, and the official photo of the team.

The site also allows the club to disseminate information about the 20^th anniversary celebration organised for the end of 2016-17 season. It also offers the opportunity for fans to watch the trailer for #20, a documentary about the last two decades, due out in the summer of 2017.

• VfL Wolfsburg are currently in 14^th place (26 points) in the 2016-17 Bundesliga table after 26 matchdays.
  • The club was crowned Bundesliga champions in 2008-09, the only league title in its history.
  • Wolfsburg also won the 2014-15 DFB-Pokal.
