The 10 games of Matchday 29 of the 2016-17 Premier League drew an average attendance of 35,257 spectators per match, for an average stadium fill rate of 96%, on 17 and 18/03/2017. The average attendance of the English top flight is currently 35,781 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 96%).

West Ham United - Leicester City (2-3) recorded the best attendance of the weekend, with 56,996 fans at London Stadium (60,000 capacity, fill rate: 99.96%). Since moving into London Stadium at Queen Elezabeth Park at the start of the 2016-17 season, West Ham have always posted a fill rate above 99%.

Six games of Matchday 29 drew over 30,000 spectators, and eight games of 10 posted a fill rate of 97% or more.

  • The 20 Premier League clubs recorded an average attendance of 36,409 spectators per game in 2015-16.
