"More than 400,000 fans requested over 2.3 million tickets in the first 24 hours following the opening of ticket sales for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil," FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) announced on the 22/08/2013.

From the 20/08/2013 to the 10/10/2013, it is possible to apply for tickets on FIFA.com, the FIFA website...
