The Milan derby, Inter - AC Milan (Matchday 32 of the 2016-17 Serie A TIM) will take place on Saturday, 15/04/2017 at 12:30 CET. This is the first time that this fixture has been placed in this time slot, which allows for broadcasting of the game live at 18:30 in Bangkok (Thailand), 19:00 in Beijing (China), and 20:30 in Seoul (South Korea).

"I wish for the derby to be played at lunch time, so that the millions of Asian fans can enjoy the show," said Erick Thohir when he became the majority shareholder and president of FC Internazionale Milano, on 15/11/2013. The Chinese multinational conglomerate Suning later became majority shareholder of Inter by acquiring a 68.55% stake in the club on 06/06/2016. Erick Thohir then became a minority shareholder, but has retained his position as president of the club.
