Ukraine: Spanish brand Joma replace adidas as equipment supplier of the Federation (2017-2021)

The Spanish brand Joma has become the equipment supplier of the Ukrainian Football Federation, for "the coming years", on 17/03/2017. The contract, with a duration of four years, runs until early 2021. Joma succeeds the German brand adidas, the supplier of the Ukrainian national team since 05/02/2009 until the end of 2016.

As part of this partnership, Joma will design an exclusive collection for the Ukrainian team, composed of training outfits and lifestyle outfits. Joma aill also design "a kit that keeps the identity of the national team", with yellow as the primary colour, accompanied by blue accents.

"Joma has a long history in the Ukrainian market. The brand has been present in the country for the last decade. Today Ukrainian national teams playing other sports such as rugby, handball and the Ukrainian Paralympic Committee really stand out, as do first division teams Olimpik Donetsk, Volyn Lutsk and Karpaty, the futsal team SK Energia Lviv or the country’s tennis star, Alexandr Dolgopolov (67^th in the ATP world rankings on 20/03/2017)," stated the Spanish supplier.
