The Premier League is implementing a new layout design (names and numbers) for the shirts of 20 teams in the league from 2017-18, announced the English professional league on 21/03/2017.

This new design has been developed by the UK communications agency Sporting iD, which has held the license of the Premier League for graphical design (names, numbers, sleeve badges) for all teams in the top division since the 1994-95 season. This is the first design change "in ten years", said the Premier League on 21/03/2017.

From the 2017-18 season, the 20 teams of the top flight will have the choice between five different colours for the writing of the names and numbers: white (with black details), and also black, navy, red, and yellow (all with white details).
