Media: Aston Villa TV to be broadcast in ANA, Malaysia Airlines and Jet Airways airlines

Aston Villa (Premier League) have signed a distribution agreement for their television channel AVTV (Aston Villa TV) with three airlines, the Birmingham club announced on the 19/08/2013. The amount or the duration of the contract have not been disclosed.

ANA (All Nippon Airlines), Malaysia Airlines and Jet Airways will offer on board four half-hour segments entitled "Inside Aston Villa" devoted to the inside of the club.

AVTV has been available on ANA flights since August 2013, and Malaysia Airlines and Jet Airways will offer the channel from October.

"We continue to try and grow the brand further. In fact, we are planning to significantly add to our current airline number over the coming weeks and months ahead," said Russell Jones, head of marketing at Aston Villa.

  • The first programme of "Inside Aston Villa" includes an exclusive interview with American actor Tom Hanks, who famously supports the club. Another famous supporter is none other than Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
