Spain: Movistar (telecom) extends its partnership with the Spanish Federation until 2018

Movistar, the telcom brand of the Spanish group Telefónica, has extended its partnership with the RFEF through the 2018 World Cup, announced the RFEF on 22/03/2017.

Movistar, official partner of the Spanish Football Federation since Euro 2012, now becomes a main sponsor. The annual amount of the contract, the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the RFEF, is estimated at €12m by specialised Spanish media.

Under the partnership, Movistar gets visibility on the training wear of the men's, women's, and U-21 teams. The brand also has the right to use the image of men's national team manager, Julen Lopetegui, and retains the right to use the image of the players of the Spanish national team for its communication campaigns.
