FC Internazionle Milano (Serie A TIM) have launched an academy for youth from 8 to 16 years old in Cordoba (Argentina), in partnership with Deportivo Atalaya, a local amateur club whose facilities will be used by residents of the Inter Academy, announced the Milanese club on 22/03/2017.

The academy in Cordoba was inaugurated by Javier Zanetti, the former Argentine international and long-time player of Inter, who became a vice-president of the club in July 2014. This academy is the seventh of Inter abroad, and the second in South America, after the one opened in Brazil.

The academy will accommodate 300 young people, who will be supported by 10 local coaches, coordinated by Valerio Candido, the technical representative of Inter on site from April 2017. "The project has been created with the aim of developing young players using the Nerazzurri methodology in their homeland, in respect of the laws of the game and international moral standards," stated the club.
