USA: Eleven Sports acquires the rights held by One World Sports, and will replace the channel

Eleven Sports Network has announced its presence in the United States, following the acquisition of certain assets of One World Sports channel, said the British broadcaster on 16/03/2017. The channel which had belonged to multimedia entertainment and sports group One Media Corporation has now been renamed Eleven Sports in the USA on 11/03/2017.

The One World Sports channel has access to 50 million homes in the United States, through multiple distribution contracts with telecommunications companies (including AT&T, DirecTV, Verizon, Charter, and NCTC). "Eleven Sports will televise cycling, ice hockey, basketball, football, rugby, cricket, drone racing, and other sports for Millennials", which includes part of the One World Sports rights portfolio and other rights that the British group announced its desire to acquire.
