Media: YES Network to televise Manchester City delayed matches in HD in the U.S.

American sports channel YES Network, owned by the New York Yankees (Major League Baseball), has acquired the rights to broadcast Manchester City (Premier League) delayed matches in the United States, the company announced on the 22/08/2013. The American channel indicated that the partnership will run for "several years" and didn't disclose the amount of the contract.

In addition to the Mancunian club delayed matches, YES Network will broadcast two magazines devoted to the insides of the "Citizens": "CityLife" and "Inside City", produced by teams of City TV, the club's channel. On the 22/08/2013, YES Network broadcast the first offline and HD match, Manchester City vs Newcastle United (4-0, first day of the 2013/14 Premier League season), played on the 19/08/2013.

YES Network is mainly airing in the State of New York, Connecticut, north and central New Jersey, and north-eastern Pennsylvania. The channel is also available in the rest of the United States via satellite, cable, and mobile operators video services.
