Italian supermarket chain Sigma has become Palermo's (Serie B) new partner for the 2013/14 season, the club announced on the 23/08/2013. The logo of the Bologna-based company will appear at the bottom front of Palermo's shirt. The club was relegated to Serie B (Italian second division) at the end of the 2012/13 season.

The contract is estimated at €225,000 for the 2013/14 season. The partnership allows Sigma to use the club's image in its Sicilian stores.

Palermo have also displayed the address of their official website on the front of their shirt, pending the signing of another sponsorship agreement. The club plans on attracting a company able to pay between €500,000 and €900,000 per season to become its main sponsor and therefore replace English online betting company Eurobet, the club's shirt sponsor from 2010/11 to 2012/13, when Palermo was evolving in Serie A.
