2.Bundesliga: association of VfB Stuttgart crosses the 50,000 member mark

The association of VfB Stuttgart (2.Bundesliga) crossed the 50,000 member mark, said the German club on 24/03/2017. "They were 20 who created the club VfB Stuttgart 1893 eV in 1893, which now corresponds to the number of new members per day," said the club.

"The accession of the 50,000th member is a milestone in the history of VfB Stuttgart. The fact that we reach this milestone when sporting results are not very good shows the depth and anchoring of VfB (in the region), as it is by far the largest sports club in Baden-Württemberg (southwest Germany). On behalf of the club management, I would like to thank all members of VfB Stuttgart for their great commitment and loyalty to our colours," stated Wolfgang Dietrich, president of the VfB Stuttgart 1893 eV association, on 24/03/2017.

With 50,000 members, VfB Stuttgart ranks seventh among German clubs according since the latest, in early 2017.
