China: CCTV extends its broadcasting rights to FIBA competitions (2017-2025)

The Chinese public television group CCTV has extended, to China, its broadcasting rights for FIBA competitions for the 2017-2025 period, indicated the group on 22/03/2017. CCTV had acquired these rights for the 2013-2016 period on 01/08/2013.

The agreement, which includes the men's basketball world championship to be held in China from 31/08 to 15/09/2019, was announced on the sidelines of a ceremony presentating of the logo of that competition. CCTV will also work with FIBA to produce this particular event.
