The FA (English Football Association) posted a turnover of £369.675m (€438m on 31/07/2016) during the 2015-16 fiscal year (from 01/08/2015 to 31/07/2016), announces the federation at the presentation of its annual results on 16/02/2017. This represents an increase of £51.514m (€61m), or 16.2%, compared to the 2014-15 fiscal year (£318m / €452m at the time).

This increase is largely explained by "revenue from the national team at Euro 2016 (TV rights and participation bonuses), increased revenue from Wembley Stadium (35 events in 2016, compared to 28 in 2015), increased income relative to sponsors, including Emirates as the main sponsor of the Emirates FA Cup in 2015-16 (no main sponsor in previous seasons)," indicated the FA on 16/02/2017.

The FA announced an operating profit of £28.94m (€34.3m) for the 2015-16 fiscal year, compared to figure of £19.75m (€28.1m at the time) in 2014-15. The 2015-16 net profit amounted to £7.062m (€8.4m), compared to a loss of £9.15m (€13m) the year before.
