Vauxhall Motors, now owned by PSA since 06/03/2017, will cease to be the main partner of the "Home Nations" football federations, the English FA, the Scottish FA, Football Association Wales, and the Northern Irish FA, following the 2018 World Cup, the British automaker announced on 29/03/2017.

Vauxhall Motors has been the main partner of the four British federations since 2011. The annual amount received by the English FA has been estimated at £6m (€7m as of 03/04/2017), according to specialised British media.

"Vauxhall has, however, agreed to explore other opportunities to continue its relationship with the FAs beyond the conclusion of the existing contracts. Vauxhall will now concentrate its marketing resources on communicating the wealth of new, innovative and technologically advanced models that will be launched over the coming months and years," stated the auto brand on 29/03/2017.
