LaLiga Santander: SD Eibar to donate matchday receipts from Las Palmas game to aid Peru

SD Eibar (LaLiga Santander), in collaboration with the NGO Eibarresa Egoaizia, will donate all of its ticketing revenue from the SD Eibar - UD Las Palmas game (Matchday 30 of LaLiga Santander, on Thursday, 06/04/2016, kick-off at 19:30 CET) to support aid for the victims of torrential rainfall on Peru since January 2017, announced the club on 28/03/2017.

For fans who can not attend the game, the club has set up the operation "FILA CERO", in which the supporters can purchase "tickets" online for donations with a minimum contribution of €10 and a maximum of €250.

Heavy rainfall caused by El Niño (a weather phenomenon with high temperatures in the eastern part of the South Pacific) has caused flooding, avalanches, and mudslides. The toll in Peru as of 04/04/2017: 75 persons killed, and 70,000 homeless.
