Facebook: 75.17 million fans in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (April 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM season have cumulative 75.17 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/04/2017. The Serie A TIM is the third most popular European Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League and LaLiga Santander, with 3.76 million fans on average per club.

Juventus are the most followed Italian club, with 25.31 million fans, an increase of 58,803 (+0.2%) since early March 2017. No Serie A club has drawn more fans than Juve in the last month. 14 Serie A TIM clubs drew fewer than 5,000 new fans in March.

FC Crotone (99,688 fans) and Empoli FC (98,774 fans) are both approaching 100,000 fans, which could thus allow the Serie A to become the third Top 5 league where all the clubs have at least 100,000 fans on Facebook, after the Premier League and Ligue 1.
