Borussia Mönchengladbach: record turnover of €196m in 2016 (+22.6%)

VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach (Bundesliga) posted a turnover of €196.87m in 2016 (from 01/01 to 31/12/2016), the club announced at its annual general meeting, in Mönchengladbach (GER) on 03/04/2017.

This figure is a new record for the club (+22.6% compared to the previous record, which was the €160.6m mark in 2015). The club's turnover was €129.8m in 2014, €91.4m in 2013, and €122.3m in 2012.

Borussia Mönchengladbach also announced a profit before tax of €37m, and a record net profit of €26.8m, up 27.6% compared to 2015. The club posted a profit before tax of €33.7m and net profit of €21m in 2015, up 65% compared to 2014 (€12.75m).
