FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) will open a "football school" in the city of Shenzen (population: 12 million), in southeast China, in partnership with Shenzhen Investment Holdings Company, a public group partly owned by the city of Shenzhen and China Sports Futurity, a Chinese agency specialising in sports, the Bavarian club announced on 30/03/2017.

Our FC Bayern Football School Shenzhen is a marker for the implementation of our international strategy in China," said Jörg Wacker, executive board member in charge of the internationalisation and strategy of FC Bayern Munich AG.
