FIFA: Chinese group Hisense (electronics) official sponsor of the 2018 World Cup in Russia

The electronics group Hisense, number three worldwide in the television market specifically, has become an official sponsor of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, FIFA announced on 06/04/2017. This is partnership is in the second level in the sponsorship pyramid of the competition.

As part of this partnership, Hisense gets visibility on the LED boards in the 12 host stadiums of the 2018 World Cup and the four being used for 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, as well as a presence on the digital platforms of the two competitions. The TVs of the Chinese group also become the "official television" of the two competitions.

"As an Official FIFA World Cup Sponsor, Hisense will engage in various global marketing and advertising activities for both the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Its logo will be associated with these two upcoming FIFA events and the company will have access to marketing opportunities both on and off the pitch," stated FIFA on 06/04/2017.
