FIFA: $1.51m in compensation for Gianni Infantino in 2016, and $837,000 for Fatma Samoura

Gianni Infantino (ITA-SUI), FIFA president since 26/02/2016, received $1.51m (€1.43m) in compensation in 2016, indicated the Governance Report of the international federation published on 07/04/2017.

Fatma Samoura, the FIFA secretary general since 20/06/2016, received $837,000 dollars (€790,000) in 2016, according to the same report.

"The Renumeration Subcommittee and the FIFA president agreed that the gross basic salary of the FIFA president would be CHF 1.5m per year, plus benefits. The Subcommittee and the general secretary have also agreed that the amount of her gross basic salary is CHF 1.3m (€1.18m), plus benefits," FIFA announced on 31/08/2016.
