In Austria, the fans of the 10 clubs of the Tipico Bundesliga can now participate, from October 2017, in the 2017-18 eBundesliga, an eSports competition organised by the Austrian Bundesliga in partnership with the American video game publisher EA Sports, announced the Austrian League on 30/03/2017.

The eBundesliga will be played using the FIFA 18 game (expected release dates in September 2017), the football simulation game published by EA Sports, via competition stages which are only online and also physical event locations. The only requirement announced to participate in the competition is to be at least 16 years old.

The Tipico Bundesliga will give more information about the competition in the coming weeks, indicated the Austrian league on 30/03/2017.
