FIFA: 2016 Activity Report

"We can state it objectively: 2016 was a year that changed the history of FIFA.This is not a self-appraisal of the work I have undertaken as President alongside the FIFA management, but rather an acknowledgmentof what our institution has become - not only for now, but for years to come," wrote Gianni Infantino, president of the international federation, in the foreword to the 2016 Activity Report published on 07/04/2017.

"But these 12 months, more than anything, were a time for FIFA to look at itself in the mirror. This Activity Report - along with our dedicated Financial and Governance Reports - is the complete and unspoilt reflection of what we have seen and how we have reacted to it. We owe this absolute transparency to our member associations and to everyone who cares about football: it is another of the many vows that we have embraced," added Gianni Infantino.
