Valencia CF: Layhoon Chan (SIN) to leave the chair on 01/07/2017, replaced by Anil Murthy (SIN)

"Layhoon Chan (SIN) has presented her resignation from the position of chairwoman, as well as from the board of directors at Valencia CF, effective from 01/07/ 2017," announced the club on 10/04/2017. She has held this position since December 2014.

Layhoon Chan will be replaced at the chair of Valencia CF by fellow Singaporean Anil Murthy, an executive director of the Valencian club since November 2016. He has previously held several diplomatic positions in the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Peter Lim, a businessman from Singapore, has been the majority owner of Valencia CF since August 2014.
