Media: OTE TV acquires the rights to broadcast Premier League in Greece

Greek pay-TV platform OTE TV has formalized the acquisition of broadcast rights in Greece of all the fixtures of the English Premier League, on the 23/08/2013. The Premier League announced that it had awarded the rights for the 2013-14 season to the 2015-16 season to the subsidiary of Hellenic Telecommunications company OTE, on the 13/02/2013.

OTE Sport's channels will live broadcast in HD the main events of the English Championship every week, as well as highlights of all the Premier League matches.

Manchester United-Chelsea (0-0, 2nd day) is the first game of the 2013-14 Premier League season broadcast by OTE Sport on the 26/08/2013.

  • OTE Sport has four distribution channels, including three in HD. The company will open a fifth channel on the 29/08/2013.
