Bundesliga: nine games of Matchday 28 draw 4 million subscribers to Sky Deutschland channels

The nine games of Matchday 28 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season, played from 07 to 09/04/2017, drew a total of 4.06 million subscribers on average on the German pay-TV Sky Bundesliga channels, according to the German audience measurement institutes AGF and GfK.

The best TV audience was for FC Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund (4-1), which drew 1.56 million subscribers on average on Sky Bundesliga HD 1 on Saturday, 08/04/2017 at 18:30 CET. This is the best TV audience thus far for the 2016-17 Bundesliga season. The previous high mark was for the reverse fixture, Borussia Dortmund - Bayern Munich (1-0), who drew 1.44 million subscribers on Sky Bundesliga HD 1 on Saturday, 19/11/2016 at 18:30.

The five best TV ratings for Bundesliga matches since the start of these audience measurements (2011) are all games between these two clubs. The record mark (since 2011) belongs to Borussia Dortmund - Bayern Munich (0-0) on 05/03/2016 (1.87 million subscribers on average).
