Borussia Dortmund: club launched a French version of its website on 11/04/2017

"(French) becomes the fourth different foreign language available on the club's official website, following the English, Japanese, and Spanish webpages. Borussia Dortmund's French-speaking fan community can now get all the latest news and background information on the club at www.bvb.de/fr," stated the Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) on Tuesday 11/04/2017, ahead of the club's quarter-final match of the 2016-17 Champions League, against Ligue 1 side AS Monaco (see below).

"Not only is French one of the world's most widely spoken languages, but we are also currently experiencing a rapidly growing interest in Borussia Dortmund from France and other French-speaking countries in particular - thanks in no small part to our players who come from France or other francophone countries around the world, such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ousmane Dembélé and Raphael Guerreiro," stated Carsten Cramer, director of sales and marketing of Borussia Dortmund.
