Manchester United: partner Aeroflot (airline) renews agreement until 2022-23 (Russian press)

Aeroflot, the Russian airline, will continue its partnership with Manchester United FC (Premier League), according to Russian news agency Tass on 07/04/2017. The new contract, to take effect in 2018-19, would cover five years, until 2022-23.

"We recently renewed our partnership with Manchester United. It is designed for five years. The new contract will take effect at the expiration of the current contract," said Vitaly Saveliev, general director of Aeroflot, quoted in Tass on 07/04/2017.

Aeroflot has been the official airline carrier of Manchester United since 08/07/2013. The initial contract is for five seasons, until 2017-18, for a total amount estimated at $40m (about €31.2m on 08/07/2013).

• The Russian airline Aeroflot has been the main partner of the Russian Olympic Committee and the official carrier of Russian Olympic teams since 07/04/2017.
