New York City FC (MLS) has become the first franchise of the league to launch into the eSports domain, by recruiting eSports player Christopher Holly, said the club on 05/04/2017. Holly will represent the club on the FIFA video game series published by EA Sports on the PS4 console in tournaments and championships worldwide.

"We are always looking for new ways to innovate and get closer to our fans.
