LaLiga Santander: Shimao (real estate) a regional partner of FC Barcelona in China until 2019

The Chinese real estate Shimao Group has become a regional partner of FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) in China, on 13/04/2017. The contract, in the 4^th level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the club, runs until 2019. The annual amount is estimated at €1m by specialised Spanish media.

As part of this partnership, FC Barcelona will work with Shimao on various projects, such as "cultural and sporting development, social responsibility and better lifestyles among Chinese people," stated the Catalan club.

"This latest deal furthers FC Barcelona’s expansion in China, whereby it shall be joining forces with Shimao to continue to promote social and sporting excellence," stated Barça.

• This is the 5^th regional partnership agreement signed by FC Barcelona in China, after Mission Hills (hotels, sports, leisure), on 24/02/2017; SPD Bank (bank) on 22/12/2016; BNN Technology (technology) on 12/12/2016; and Oppo (smartphones) on 31/05/2015.
