Ligue 1: attendance for Matchday 33 of 2016-17, Marseille - Saint-Étienne draws 54,100 spectators

Matchday 33 of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season drew an average attendance of 21,470 spectators per game (average stadium fill rate: 71%) from 07 to 09/04/2017. The average attendance of the French championship is currently 20,706 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 68%).

Olympique de Marseille - AS Saint-Étienne (4-0) drew the best figure of the weekend, with 54,100 spectators at the Orange Vélodrome (fill rate: 92%). This the third time in 2016-17 that OM have drawn more than 50,000.

The attendance of the SC Bastia - Olympique Lyonnais match was not taken into account; there was an altercation between Bastia fans and Lyon players during the pre-game warm-ups, and then at the half-time of the match. The game at the Stade Armand-Cesari in Furiani (Corisca, FRA) was abandoned on 16/04/2017.

Only four games of Matchday 33 drew more than 20,000 spectators, and five games of 9 recorded a fill rate of more than 70%.
