Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 29 of 2016-17, Dortmund - Frankfurt draws 81,360 spectators

Matchday 29 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average 26,698 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 97%, on 15 and 16/04/2017. The average attendance of the German top division is currently 41,249 fans per game on the season (average fill rate: 93%).

Borussia Dortmund - Eintracht Frankfurt (3-1) recorded the highest attendance of the matchday, with 81,360 spectators at Signal Iduna Park (sold out). This is the ninth of 14 league home games that Dortmund have sold out in 2016-17.

Seven of the nine games of Matchday 29 drew more than 30,000 spectators, and eight games had a 90% or higher fill rate.

  • The 18 Bundesliga clubs had an average of 43,325 spectators per game in 2015-16.
    • Average stadium fill rate: 93%.
