Ligue 1: attendance for Matchday 34 of 2016-17, PSG - Montpellier draws 45,778 spectators

Matchday 34 of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season drew an average attendance of 24,486 spectators per game (average stadium fill rate: 72%), from 21 to 23/04/2017. The average attendance of the French championship is currently 20,753 spectators per game on the season (average fill rate: 68%).

Paris Saint-Germain - Montpellier HSC (2-0) drew the best crowd of the weekend, with 45,778 spectators at the Parc des Princes (95% fill rate). This is the tenth time in 17 league home games in 2016-17 which PSG has drawn more than 45,000 spectators.

The Saint-Étienne - Stade Rennais (1-1) match was played behind closed doors at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on 23/04/2017, as the stadium of Saint-Étienne was suspended following incidents during the derby match against Olympique Lyonnais (2-0, Matchday 23). Taking this closed doors match into account, the average attendance of the Matchday 34 drops down to 22,037 spectators per game.

Four games of Matchday 34 drew more than 25,000 spectators, and five matches of nine recorded a fill rate of more than 75%.
