USA: stadium of Miami FC becomes "Riccardo Silva Stadium", named after one of the owners

The FIU Stadium (20,000 capacity), the stadium of the Florida International University, where Miami FC plays it games, has become the "Riccardo Silva Stadium", indicated the football club that has been in NASL (North American second division) since the 2016 season, on 03/04/2017. Riccardo Silva is the owner of Silva International Investments, which is a co-owner of Miami FC alongside the former Italian international Paolo Maldini.

In addition to the name change, the stadium, built in 2008, "has also seen significant improvements made to the facility over the last two months, with completion of two major projects: installation of a new state of the art playing surface FieldTurf’s Revolution 360. And the installation of a new videoboard," said the Florida-based club.

Silva International Investments also has a stake in the British marketing and media rights agency MP & Silva, of which Riccardo Silva was one of the co-founders.
