LFP: 20 initiatives organised into 5 priority groups for strategic development by 2022

Enhancing the value of the game and the players in France, market French professional football internationally, redefine the brand strategy and architecture, create a network of professional football ambassadors, and make Domino's Ligue 2 and the Coupe de la Ligue of experimental laboratories for football, these are five of the 20 initiatives included in the LFP's strategic plan for the next five years, announced the French Professional Football League at a press conference at the #Cloud Business Center in Paris (FRA) on 25/04/2017.

"This is an innovative approach for the League, and for the first time we have combined with our clubs to have a common project. It is often difficult to agree on everything, but we have set an ambitious and realistic vision. Historically, Ligue 1 has been lagging behind the other Big 4 championships (Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A). We are behind on all of the sources of income for the club.
