Vivendi: Vincent Bolloré re-appointed as chairman of the supervisory board until 2020

Vincent Bolloré has been re-appointed as the chairman of the supervisory board of the French audiovisual conglomerate Vivendi until 31/12/2020, announced the group following its general meeting on 25/04/2017. Bolloré has held this position at the parent company of Canal+ since 2014.

The general meeting of shareholders held in Paris (FRA) on 25/04/2017, with a quorum of 62.9% of members present or represented, re-appointed the mandate of Vincent Bolloré to the supervisory board with 82%.

Following the general meeting of the group, Vincent Bolloré could hold 29.3% of Vivendi's voting rights. The businessman had crossed the 25% threshold of Vivendi's voting rights (26.37%) on 06/03/2017. Vincent Bolloré, Vivendi's majority shareholder with 20.65% of the capital, holds these voting rights, directly or indirectly, via his holding compnay Compagnie de Cornouaille.
