FIFA: Israel-Palestine Task Force to organize first meeting in Zurich on the 03/09/2013

The new FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) Israel-Palestine Task Force will meet for the first time at the headquarters of the international body in Zurich (Switzerland), on the 03/09/2013.

The working group, created following FIFA president Sepp Blatter's tour in the Middle East (from the 06 to the 09/07/2013), aims at improving the situation of football in Palestine and in the region. The group will work in particular on facilitating the movement of players, referees and sports equipment, in and out of and within Palestine.

Joseph Blatter has invited Avi Luzon, president of IFA (Israeli Football Federation), Jibril Al Rajoub, president of the PFA (Palestinian Football Association), Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, FIFA Vice-President and President of the JFA (Jordanian Football Federation), to join the Task Force.
