USA: GolTV acquires TV rights to the Liga Nos from the 2017-18 season

GolTV has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights, valid for the United States, to the Liga Nos, indicated the American pay-TV channel on 18/04/2017. The duration and amount of the agreement, which will see the channel broadcast about 150 games in English and Spanish from the 2017-18 season, have not been communicated.

The GolTV channel, "which has broadcast SL Benfica games since 2014, will also broadcast matches of FC Porto and Sporting Clube de Portugal," said the channel. The Liga Nos matches for the 2016-17 season are broadcast in the United States via the OTT platform FuboTV offer (rights acquired on 12/08/2016) and some matches via the Spanish-language channel Univision Deportes (rights acquired on 10/08/2016). GolTV is the broadcaster in the United States of the Portuguese Cup and the Portuguese League Cup.
