The LFP Disciplinary Committee has decided to impose a fine of €100,000 against Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) and to provisional sanction the club to two away games with no visitor fans, announced on 27/04/2017.

This decision follows the behavior of the supporters of the Parisian club in the zone reserved for them in the final of the 2016-17 Coupe de la Ligue between AS Monaco - PSG (1-4) played in Lyon at the Parc OL on 01/04/2017. The LFP highlighted "the use of pyrotechnic devices and multiple and significant degradations to the stadium" during the Coupe de la Ligue in its decision.

The LFP Disciplinary Committee also decided the closure, for two games, of the visitor area for away games of PSG, but this sanction has already been served, since, as a precautionary measure announced on 06/04/2017, this sanction against the PSG away supporters was applied during the trips of the Paris club to Angers (0-2, Matchday 33, on 14/04/2017) and to Metz (2-3, postponed game of Matchday 31, on 18/04/2017).

  • In addition to the sanctions decided on 27/04/2017, the LFP affirmed on 02/04/2017…
