Real Madrid CF: club withdraws 357 season tickets for "improper use" during El Clasico

Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), in coordination with the state security forces, withdrew 357 season tickets of the club's socios for "improper use" of their subscription during El Clasico against FC Barcelona (2-3, Matchday 33), played at the Santiago Bernabeu on 23/04/2017.

The socios concerned are suspected of having resold their ticket for the match against Barça, while this practice is prohibited by Real Madrid. The disciplinary committee of the club will study the files of the socios involved, and could also decide remove the individuals involved as socios of Real Madrid. 1,450 files for the expulsion of socios due to the possible resale of tickets have been opened in total by the club throughout the season.

"Real Madrid wants to show that it will continue working hard to combat this illegal practice, within the framework of our statutes and regulations. The club can only pursue these irregularities in collaboration and coordination with the state security forces," the club said on 25/04/2017.
