Bundesliga: Bayern Munich become the first champions of a Top 5 league in 2016-17

With the club's victory over the weekend, VfL Wolfsburg - FC Bayern Munich (0-6, Matchday 31 of the 2016-17 Bundesiga on 29/04/2017), combined with the RB Leipzig - FC Ingolstadt 04 (1-1) result on the same day, FC Bayern Munich are assured of being the 2016-17 Bundesliga champions.

There are three matchdays remaining in the German top division for 2016-17. This is the fifth consecutive Bundesliga title for the Bavarian club. Bayern Munich also thus become the first club to clinch its domestic league title of the European Top 5 leagues.
