Matchday 35 of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season drew an average attendance of 17,445 spectators per game (average stadium fill rate of 76%), from 28 to 30/04/2017. The average attendance of the French league is currently 20,822 spectators per game in 2016-17 (average fill rate: 68%).

OGC Nice - Paris Saint-Germain (3-1) drew the best crowd of the weekend, with 33,190 spectators at the Allianz Riviera (93% fill rate). The SC Bastia - Stade Rennais (1-0) match was played behind closed doors at the Stade Parsemain near Istres (FRA) on 29/04/2017. Bastia have been suspended from playing games at home following incidents in the match against Olympique Lyonnais (Matchday 33 of Ligue 1) which forced the abandonment of the game at half-time.

Taking into account this match with no spectators, the average attendance of Matchday 35 goes down to 15,700 fans per game. Four games of Matchday 35 drew more than 20,000 spectators, and six games of nine recorded a fill rate of more than 75%.
