Twitter: 15.94 million followers in total for the 20 Serie A TIM clubs (May 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2016-17 Serie A TIM season have a cumulative 15.94 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data compiled by News Tank Football on 01/05/2017. The Serie A TIM ranks third in the European Top 5 leagues, behind LaLiga Santander and the Premier League, with 797,437 followers on average per club.

AC Milan are the most followed Italian club, with 4.67 million followers, an increase of 105,220 (+2.3%) compared to the beginning of April 2017. Juventus are the club that recorded the highest Increase in followers (+163,790) and the highest percentage growth (+4%). Juventus narrowed the gap with AC Milan to less than half a million followers.

FC Crotone are the club of the Top 5 leagues which register the smallest number of new followers in April 2017 (410).
