Atlético de Madrid: agreement with LG to "improve the spectator experience" at Wanda Metropolitano

Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander) and the Korean electronics group LG have signed an agreement to "improve the spectator experience" at the 69,000-seater Wanda Metropolitano stadium, where the club will play from 2017-18 onwards, after 50 years spent at the Estadio Vicente Calderón, announced Atlético on 08/05/2017.

"Both in terms of the number of giant screens and televisions that will be installed there, and their cutting-edge features, moving to the Wanda Metropolitano will be a qualitative leap in the use of technology to improve the spectator experience at football matches and other events in the venue," said Atlético de Madrid.

The agreement provides that the Wanda Metropolitano will have the most innovative giant screens, televisions, and signage solutions from LG. The project will be led by LG Partner 360, an entity dedicated to professionals within the LG Electronics España scope.
