FIFA: Palestine and Israel will sign a protocol on the free movement of players

IFA (Israeli Football Federation) and PFA (Palestinian Football Association) have agreed to a memorandum of understanding, to facilitate the movement of persons and goods for football purposes, in and out and within Palestine, during FIFA's (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) Israel-Palestine Task Force meeting, held at the headquarters of the international body in Zurich (Switzerland), on the 03/09/2013.

A meeting is scheduled between the two associations in Jordan in September 2013, and the first report will be presented to the Executive Committee of FIFA on the 03/10 and 04/10/2013 in Zurich.

The Working Group, created after FIFA president Sepp Blatter's tour of the Middle East (from the 06/07 to the 09/07/2013), aims at improving the situation of football in Palestine and the region. Avi Luzon, president of the IFA, Jibril Al Rajoub, president of the PFA and Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, FIFA vice president and president of the JFA (Jordanian Football Federation) were invited.
