LOSC Lille (Ligue 1) have opened three official accounts on the Chinese social networks Weibo, Zhihu, and Toutiao, announced the club on 18/05/2017. A Mandarin version of the official website of the club will also be launched in June 2017. These initiatives are part of the "new project which aims to promote the club and the LOSC brand internationally," said the club.

Chinese fans will be able to follow club news, the players, and the results of games. Exclusive content - written and video - will be specially created for this audience. This is also part of the "broader strategic framework that should soon see LOSC develop partnerships and activations in a country that has embarked on a major development plan for its football," said LOSC.

Nearly 10,000 fans have joined the three new Chinese official accounts since their launch "a few days ago," said LOSC.
