At least 3.682 million viewers watched the ten games of Matchday 38, the final matchday, of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander, played from 19 to 21/05/2017.

The best TV audience was for Malaga - Real Madrid (0-2), which drew 1,370,000 subscribers on average on the pay-TV channel Movistar Partidazo, on Sunday, 21/05/2017 (kick-off at 20:00 CET). This represented an audience share of 9.5%, which was the best performance in the Spanish pay-TV market for the day of 21/05/2017.

• Barcelona - Eibar (4-2): 904,000 viewers on average on the pay-TV channel beIN LaLiga (joint venture between Mediapro and beIN Media Group), on 21/05/2017 (kick-off at 20:00). Audience share of 6.2%.

• Celta de Vigo - Real Sociedad (2-2): 421,000 viewers on average on the free-TV channel Gol (Mediapro channel relaunched on 02/06/2016), on Sunday, 21/05/2017 (kick-off at 16:45). Audience share: 2.2%.
